Odyssey and Impro Theatres Present CHEKHOV UNSCRIPTED and TWILIGHT ZONE UNSCRIPTED, 9/14-11/4
Odyssey Theatre Ensemble and Impro Theatre present "Chekhov Unscripted" & "Twilight Zone Unscripted", a different play every night from September 14 to November 4, 2012.
Chekhov Unscripted – A completely improvised play in the style of Anton Chekhov. Impro Theatre now brings its particular brand of comic genius to the special world of Anton Chekhov. The beautiful, damaged, poetic, joyous, petty, coarse and yearning characters of Chekhov's plays serve as inspiration, along with audience suggestions, to spur the Impro Theatre ensemble into the instant creation of an all new, never before seen Chekhovian play… right before your eyes.
Twilight Zone Unscripted – Completely improvised episodes in the style of the Twilight Zone. From the darkest corners of reality, to the land of the unexplained- Impro Theatre pays homage to Rod Serling's breakthrough sci-fi series. Enter the wondrous dimension of imagination, as never before seen episodes based on audience suggestions are instantly created at every performance.
