And so the month of November is upon us, and with it comes a number of shows that will soon close, as well as some others that are preparing to open - so grab your calendar and make sure attending some live theatre performances on the beautiful California Central Coast is a part of your recreational entertainment activities schedule in the days and weeks ahead!

The Atascadero High School Drama Department (http://www.atas.k12.ca.us/ausd/ahs/finearts/Drama/drama.html) one of the Central Coast's premier high school theatre programs, will present Scheherazade and 15 Minute Hamlet through November 14.

Scheherazade is a romantic comedy adapted for the stage from ancient tales of Sultans, desert thieves, harem girls, enchanted caves, treasure and adventure. Travel back to ancient Persia and enjoy the exotic dancing, spectacle and story of the brave girl who risked her life telling stories to a Sultan to save her people.

The Fifteen Minute Hamlet is Tom Stoppard's delightful rendition of Shakespeare's greatest tragedy in a nutshell.  6 skillful actors portray the entire cast and story of HAMLET, the tragic Prince of Denmark, in fifteen minutes' time.  Everyone can enjoy Shakespeare for fifteen minutes!
