Hatikvah Productions has extended the world premiere run of No Word in Guyanese for Me through June 25.

Written by award-winning playwright Wendy Graf (Behind the Gates) and directed by Anita Khanzadian, No Word in Guyanese for Me stars Ovation award-winning ‘Best Actress' Anna Khaja in a "protean performance" (Los Angeles Times) as a young, gay immigrant from Guyana who must reconcile her sexuality with the teachings of her Muslim faith.

The Los Angeles Times calls No Word in Guyanese for Me "heartfelt and moving," while EDGE Los Angeles writes, ""Run to see [it]... A riveting theater experience... Brava!" Back Stage gives No Word a "Critic's Pick." The LA Weekly calls Anna Khaja's performance "compelling" and L.A.TheatreReview calls it "brilliant." Concludes EyeSpyLA, "Thoroughly entertaining and potent...the effect is transfixing."

No Word In Guyanese for Me continues on Fridays and Saturdays @ 8 pm and Sundays @ 5 pm through June 25. All tickets are $15. For information and to purchase tickets, call 800-838-3006 or go to http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/155636.
