New Theatre Tour Features VIEWS Podcast Creators Live On Stage
Right Angle Entertainment today announced the VIEWS Summer Tour 2018 (www.viewstour.com/) featuring YouTube personalities David Dobrik and Jason Nash. The duo, whose YouTube channels have a combined following of more than seven million subscribers, will visit nine cities over eight weekends giving fans their first opportunity to see the creators of the popular VIEWS podcast live on stage. The tour kicks off Saturday, June 9 in Lynn, MA.
Dobrik, originally from Slovakia and now living in Los Angeles, has amassed more than six million of those YouTube subscribers. In 2013, he quickly rose to online fame gaining 1.3 million followers on his Vine channel. Fellow online personality Jason Nash, originally from Boston, is a 40-something single dad with a YouTube vlog of his own, now with more than 1.1 million subscribers. Nash co-created the long-running podcast "Guys with Feelings" which debuted in 2006 and has developed shows for Fox, NBC, CBS, Oxygen and IFC.
The duo launched their VIEWS podcast in 2017 where it quickly climbed into the top three spots on iTunes. Recent episodes include "My Friend Almost Killed My Sister, "A Celebrity Kicked Us Out of Our Table" and "Blocking my Ex-Wife on Instagram." With VIEWS, Dobrik and Nash take listeners behind-the-scenes of their vlog productions, talk pop culture, share intimate thoughts, discuss living the "YouTube life" and often dissect their own relationship.
Produced by Right Angle Entertainment, the tour kicks off in Lynn, Massachusetts before heading to Pittsburgh, Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, Newark, Houston, San Jose and Chicago.
