Master Vocal Impressionist Jimmy James Returns to Upright Cabaret 03/5-6

On Fri & Sat, March 5 & 6, 2010 at 10pm - Upright Cabaret proudly welcomes the return of renowned Vocal Impressionist Jimmy James in "IMPRESSIONISM" at Upright Cabaret on Vermont, 1714 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027.

Once considered the world's foremost Marilyn Monroe vocal/visual impersonator until he retired the Marilyn Monroe look-a-like business in 1997, Jimmy James has spent the last 10 years crafting a Dance music and songwriting career in New York City. Now with a full album "Jamestown" and an international hit Fashionista" under his belt, James makes a triumphant return home to present two exquisite evenings that will showcase some of the finest vocal impressions that you have ever seen!

Always the innovator, "Impressionism" will feature a retrospective of his many famous vocal impressions including Cher, Madonna, Judy Garland, Billie Holiday, Bette Davis, Stevie Nicks, Eartha Kitt, Diana Ross and the king himself, Elvis! As an added bonus, James will perform songs from his new album, "Jamestown!"
