In The Little Dog Laughed, up-and-coming movie star Mitchell May be about to land the role of a lifetime, but his ruthless Hollywood uber-agent is poised to push him back in the closet (and everyone else in his life off a cliff) to get it for him. This Tony Award-nominated comedy takes a look at the world of celebrity and the down-and-dirty politics of show biz. The Little Dog Laughed made its West End premiere on January 20 at London's Garrick Theatre starring Rupert Friend and Olivier winner Tamsin Greig, directed by Jamie Lloyd

The play originally was produced off-Broadway at the Second Stage Theatre, where it ran in January and February of 2006, directed by Scott Ellis and starring Neal Huff and Julie White.  The production opened on Broadway in November 2006 at the Cort Theatre and ran for 22 and 112 performances starring Tom Everett Scott and Julie White. The production was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play and Julie White won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her performance.
