Loft Ensemble Presents DRACULA: BLOOD BEFORE DAWN

LOFT ENSEMBLE has announced the world premiere production of Dracula: Blood Before Dawn adapted and directed by Raymond Donahey. Performances begin with opening night October 7 at 8 pm.

While Dracula: Blood Before Dawn is an homage to Bram Stoker's nonlinear gothic novel, this adaptation takes its own shape as it unwinds the horror of honored and inspired characters, testing their courage, morality and sanity. Blood Before Dawn introduces the title character as a human infiltrator, able to move about the Victorian world, observing as a philosopher, scientist and of course, predator. Set against the dark backdrop of England's Industrial revolution, and filtered through the lives of the privileged and the insane, this story is an adventure of historical fiction, full of danger, secrets, horror, and romance.

Loft Ensemble is one of Los Angeles's up and coming resident theatre companies, consistently offering some of the most high energy and ground breaking productions in the area. In its young history, Loft has already won several awards including two Ovation Awards in 2015, Best Ensemble at the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival, and back to back Producers' Encore Awards at the Hollywood Fringe Festival for 2015 and 2016.

Dracula: Blood Before Dawn will open Friday, October 7 at 8pm. The regular performance schedule will be Fridays and Saturdays at8pm, and Sundays at 7pm through November 13.
