Linda Eder Headlines At The Canyon Club 5/14
Broadway and Concert star Linda Eder has been set to headline the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA on Thursday, May 14, 2009. The occasion marks her first appearance at the legendary 500-seat venue, as well as her first of only two engagements in California for the remainder of this year.
One of America's premier singers of pop standards and Broadway tunes, the former Star Search winner and star of the long running Broadway hit musical Jekyll and Hyde is back with a looser, more intimate Country-Pop sound perfectly suited to the thoughtful, introspective songs chosen for her newest CD The Other Side of Me. Highlights of Linda's new approach include the personally charged "Pieces", "Make Today Beautiful" and Eder's composition "Waiting for the Fall". In addition, she delivers sensitive renditions of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" and "Ghost" by Emily Saliers of The Indigo Girls. Eder's vocal range and stunning talents encompass nearly every style from cabaret to classical. She brings all of these extraordinarily talents to the Canyon Club engagement. A dramatic live performer with a large and passionately devoted audience, Eder's Canyon Club engagement celebrates The Other Side of Me, her 10th CD and Verve Records debut.
Doors open at 6:00 pm for both Priority Seating and General Admission ticket holders. Priority Seating pertains to those who make advance reservations to purchase dinner on site. Dinner is served between 6:00 and 7:00 pm. To maintain Priority Seating, dinner guests must arrive before 7:00 pm. General Admission guests may choose available general seating on a first come, first serve basis. Showtime is 8:00 pm.
