2010 Stanley Drama Award winning playwright Richard Martin Hirsch premiers his latest work, London's Scars, at The Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles on May 15, 2010. Joining Hirsch, and coming off the highly acclaimed Sidhe, is director Darin Anthony, who reunites with the lead cast of Sidhe and to make a bulletproof lineup including Rob Nagle, Ann Noble, Imelda Corcoran, Meredith Bishop, and Ammar Ramzi.
A bomb goes off.
Lives are destroyed.
Who is responsible?!
The corrosive nature of blame threatens to exact a huge toll on doctor and patient alike after a London psychologist is informed by a member of the International Counter-Terrorism Branch of the Security Service that the emotionally-damaged woman she's been treating may have played a part in the bombing of a public bus.
Recognized for a compelling mixture of mystery, suspense and drama, London's Scars won first prize at the Reverie Productions 2008 Next Generation Playwriting Competition, and ranked as a semi-finalist in 2008's O'Neill Theatre Conference and Stanley Drama Awards.
Ticket price is $15 for previews and $30 for the run.
