L.A. Theatre Works & The James Bridges Theater to Offer NT Live Screenings, 10/28
By: Kelsey Denette Oct. 09, 2012
See a great double bill of the best of London theater when L.A. Theatre Works and The James Bridges Theater present two National Live broadcasts on October 28. Take advantage of in-an-out parking at UCLA to enjoy a leisurely dinner between the shows in nearby Westwood Village (free parking available for L.A. Theatre Works double-bill patrons at Skylight Gardens, 1139 Glendon Ave.):
- At 3 pm, back by popular demand, an encore screening of Simon Stephens’ beautiful and imaginative stage adaptation of Mark Haddon’s bestselling novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night-time
- At 7:30 pm (separate admission), The Last of the Haussmans, Stephen Beresford’s funny, touching and sometimes savage portrait of a family that’s losing its grip. Julie Walters heads the cast as an anarchic, feisty but growing old, high society drop-out.
