Krysta Rodgriguez et al. to Perform at BARRE BONES Concert Tonight

Los Angeles Cabaret venue Show at Barre/BARRE vt and Very Intense Productions will present RSO: Barre Bones, an evening of songs by Ryan Scott Oliver, on July 6, at 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

The concert will be hosted by the composer and will feature songs from his new musical Jasper in Deadland, as well as work from Mrs. Sharp, Darling, 35mm, and with a special performance by the cast of The Mechanical Theatre Group's production of Out of My Head.

The cast includes: Tony Award Nominee Sharon McKnight (Starmites), Krysta Rodgriguez (The Addams Family), Robyn Clark (Gypsy), Coby Getzug (Spring Awakening), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture), Aaron Albert (Disney's I'm in the Band), as well as Los Angeles talent Daniel Tatar (Spelling Bee, Paradise Lost), Will Collyer (Big, Parade), Brett Ryback (Lt. of Inishmore, Little Shop of Horrors), Ben Goldberg, Lakisha Bowen, Maggie Anderson and the cast of Out of my Head. More performers will be announced shortly.

Ryan Scott Oliver is currently writing the score for Disney Theatrical's stage musical Freaky Friday, directed by Memphis's Christopher Ashley. 2011 Lortel Award Nominee, 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant Recipient, 2008 Rodgers Award Winner, he wrote the music and lyrics for 35mm (directed by Daisy Prince), Darling (featured on NBC's The Apprentice), Mrs. Sharp (Playwrights Horizons July 2009 starring Jane Krakowski, dir. by Michael Greif) and a collection of his work, Rated RSO, played the Kennedy Center, Joe's Pub, New York Musical Theatre Festival, and Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena.
