Stacy Keach, Grace Gummer, Josh Radnor and more will record David Mamet's adaptation of Chekhov's "Uncle Vanya" for L.A. Theatre Works on Oct. 17-20 at James Bridges Theater.

Golden Globe winner Stacy Keach (The Bourne Legacy), Grace Gummer (HBO's The Newsroom), and Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother) head the cast when L.A. Theatre Works records Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet's powerful adaptation of Chekhov's masterpiece.

On the crumbling estate of a retired professor and his beautiful young wife, a tangled web of desire emerges to consume various friends and family members who have sought refuge there.

Also in the cast are Caroline Aaron, Jennifer Bassey, JD Cullum, Holly Fain, Martin Jarvis, and Devon Sorvari. Rosalind Ayres directs. All performances will be recorded live in front of an audience (without sets or costumes) to air on L.A. Theatre Works' syndicated radio theater series, which broadcasts weekly on public radio stations nationwide (locally, in Southern California, on KPFK 90.7 FM) and can be streamed on demand at www.latw.org.

Tickets are $15-$50 and available by calling 310-827-0889 or visiting www.latw.org.
