Jeptha Storm's THE VACANCY Produced at the Lost Studio, Now thru 9/27

By:

The Vacancy by Jeptha Storm Directed by Jeptha Storm stars Toby Bryan, Shayne Eastin, James Storm, Jeff Torres, Jonathan Cahill, Jack Litman and Michael Kurtz. Produced by Jeptha Storm in association with From the Heart Productions, and presented by the Cinda Jackson and The Lost Studio.

'The Vacancy' follows three low life thugs (Vincent, Winston, and Buck) to the Canadian/Washington border where they are holed up in an off the main road motel waiting for their ringleader (Dallas) to arrive. Their waiting becomes tense when a young yuppie couple (Howard and Lucy) show up in the room next to theirs. The play is intermittently narrated by the ghost of Lucy's father (Miles).

Jeptha Storm, nephew of renowned L.A. playwright John Steppling, is following his uncle's footsteps as a stage writer with his debut fulllength play. But not his first play - previously he has written and directed a series of short pieces through John Steppling's Gunfighter Nation. Jeptha continued to nurture his relationship with The Lost Studio (which served as GFN headquarters) and along with the studio's Artistic Director, Cinda Jackson, Jeptha helped write, direct, and produce a series of highly successful and favorably reviewed collections of new theatrical works. This is Jeptha's fulllength play debut. He guarantees it won't be his last.

Performances will be tonight, August 22nd 8pm (Fridays and Saturdays only) through Saturday September 27th 8pm at The Lost Studio (130 South La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90036). $15 for the first weekend $20 every weekend until closing. For Tickets & Information Phone: 323.933.6944
