JINGLE AND JIVE: A HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR to Run at Prospect Theatre Hollywood
Pink Rhino Productions (Dollywood, Six Flags, Universal Studios) and the Prospect Theatre Hollywood present Jingle and Jive: A Holiday Spectacular at 8PM on Fridays and Saturdays from December 2, 2016 through January 7, 2017.
Jingle and Jive is a musical revue show that combines today's pop music and holiday classics with a very Gatsby-esque, retro style. The amazing cast of singer/dancers bring a story to life that is a little bit NAUGHTY, a little bit NICE and one heck of a good time. The audience is immersed in the action and ultimately becomes a part of the show.
The show's writer/ director, Chester McCurry (Dolly Parton Productions, SyFy Channel, Six Flags), has assembled a cast of some of LA's most talented performers including Nick Adorno (Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, Disney's Newsboys), Jenna Gillespie (Recorded in Hollywood, Disney's Five & Dime), Chris Castillo (National Tours-Jesus Christ Superstar, Annie Get Your Gun), Mat Hayes (Boy From OZ, My Crazy Ex, Dollywood), Gabriella Carrillo (AIDA, The Christians), Franchesca London (Dreamgirls UK), Leslie Rubino (National Tour- Curious George, RENT), Sarah Stallman (Holland America, Universal Singapore), Espiridion Magana (Live at the Apollo) and Christopher Buny (Knott's Berry Farm). A 6 piece orchestra under the direction of Leo Meza adds to the excitement and energy of the show.
One of the stars of the show, Gabriella Carrillo, is the sister of Justin Hartley who stars in NBC's This Is Us. She is a Berklee College graduate and brings an unprecedented vocal talent and unique style to the show. Along side Carrillo is the talented Jenna Gillespie who starred in Recorded In Hollywood and was just nominated for Best Featured Actress In A Musical by Broadway World.
The Prospect Theatre is the hippest, new performance space striving bring back true live stage productions to the center of Hollywood while also providing an inviting menu and fantastic drinks. It is a true supper club format reminiscent of vintage Hollywood.
