JACCC Presents GIVING THANKS- Holiday Concert 11/28

By:

Saturday, November 28, 2009, 8pm Giving Thanks- A holiday concert featuring artists from the World Festival of Sacred Music-Los Angeles, Giving Thanks brings together the newest generation of artists from Los Angeles in a rousing celebration of dance and music. From the magnificent beauty and vibrancy of Bharata Natyam (Shakti Dance Company) from southern India to the sweet allure of graceful movement and chant from Hawaii (Halau Keali'i O Nalani) and the infectious rhythms of Afro-Brazilian (Viver Brasil) dance and carnival; the shared spirit and intense energy of these dancers and musicians gathered on one stage represent the legacy of their traditions and the vitality of our city-Los Angeles.
