Falcon Theatre's THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP Begins Tonight

By:

Falcon Theatre will present The Mystery of Irma Vep, written by Obie Award-winner Charles Ludlam, directed by Jenny Sullivan, and starring Matthew Floyd Miller and Jamie Torcellini, the second production of the Falcon Theatre's 2013-2014 Subscription Season.

Named one of the best plays of 1984 byThe New York Times, this ridiculous romp begins on a dark and stormy night when Lady Enid and Lord Edgar arrive at their haunted estate. Including a vampire attack, a werewolf hunt and a journey to an ancient Egyptian tomb, the laughs erupt as a mystery unfolds in this side-splitting spoof of horror movies, classic literature, Victorian melodrama, Hitchcock and the conventions of theatre itself, complete with monsters, mummies and damsels in distress.

The show begins previews tonight, October 16 - 19 at 8pm; October 20 4pm; October 23 & 24 at 8pm, ahead of an official opening night of Friday, October 25, 2013 at 8pm. The productino will close on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 4pm.
