Lotus Eaters EP - Not a conventional performance, Lotus Eaters EP is an audio-fueled "extended play," a hallucinatory sonic experience about loneliness, depravity and the intrinsic failure of all human contact. With nearly an hour of original music by Reggie Watts, and vocal work by Neil Gaiman, Marin Ireland, Reed Birney, this video-heavy multimedia piece is a 50-minute journey into the dark depths of human consciousness (mature audiences only). Presented by The Echo Theatre Company for one performance only on Friday, June 14 at 11 pm, following the performance of Echo Theatre Company's BOB.

The show features direction and text by Tommy Smith with original music and soundscapes by Reggie Watts. Featuring the voices of Neil Gaiman (Sandman, American Gods), Reed Birney (Blasted, Picnic), Marin Ireland (Nocturne, Blasted), and Mary Jane Gibson (The Wife). Arranged, mixed and mastered by Michael McQuilken, with additional music by John Osebold and Michael McQuilken. Visual imagery by Fette Sans. Live video projection and design by Lucy MacKinnon. Presented by The Echo Theater Company

The performance is set for Friday, June 14 at 11 pm at the Atwater Village Theatre, 3269 Casitas Ave, Atwater Village, Calif. Call 877-369-9112 or www.EchoTheaterCompany.com. Tickets: $10; FREE with ticket to "BOB" (8 pm curtain). Parking is FREE on-site.
