EVEN YET, ITS MIGHTY DARING SINGS Plays X Repertory Theatre Company 10/1-11

By: Sep. 04, 2009

Drawn from a variety of narrative sources, Even Yet, Its Mighty Daring Sings explores the most current of events-the economy. The piece weaves together first person narratives collected through interviews with regular people all over the country, with the eerily prescient 1904 The Voysey Inheritance about an about an early 20th century Bernie Madoff-type who is discovered by his son-all viewed through the funhouse mirror of a madcap vaudevillian circus. Even Yet, Its Mighty Daring Sings is an interactive, multidisciplinary, fun, surprising and thought-provoking exploration of the impact of the current recession on our national psyche. Plus, we give out free beer and candy!
