El Ogrito (The Ogreling) is Qubec playwright Suzanne Lebeaus stunning story about the monster within all of us. Adapted from her original French text, and presented in Spanish with projected English super titles, Lebeaus poignant coming-of-age story chronicles the struggles of a young boy born to a human mother and an ogre father as he tries to overcome his animal instincts and find his place in human society. Directed by Jess Castaos-Chima, and starring Julieta Ortiz and Gabriel Romero. El Ogrito (The Ogreling) is best suited for ages 8 and up.
