David Dean Bottrell is a multi-hyphenate. Familiar to television audiences from his break out role in David E. Kelley's Boston Legal, playing the wonderfully psychotic "Lincoln Meyer". David rejoins Kelly on the NBC series Harry's Law. Bottrell's stage credits include productions at Second Stage, The Public Theatre, Manhattan Punch Line and LaMama. Most recently, he was an original cast member of the long-running hit comedy revue, Streep Tease where he performed (to great acclaim) the entire plot of Out of Africa in six minutes flat. Bottrell appeared at the Colony Theatre in 2009 in Wayne Liebman's Better Angels and returns this season to direct the stage adaption of Graham Greene's much-loved novel Travels With My Aunt.

As a director, Bottrell directed (and wrote) the award-winning short Available Men, which screened at more than 130 film festivals internationally. In addition to his acting/directing career, Bottrell has realized much success as a screenwriter, creating many scripts for studios such as MTV Films, Paramount Pictures and Disney Feature Animation, as well as the co-writer for Fox Searchlight's 2001 mega-hit Kingdom Come.

Bottrell contributes to Metrosource Magazine and The Huffington Post, and has his own popular industry Web site, Parts and Labor (www.partsandlabor.tv), a serio-comic look at being oddly middle class in Hollywood.
