Complete Cast Announced for (mostly)musicals: *in dreams* at E Spot Lounge
(mostly)musicals returns to the E Spot Lounge on Monday, May 22nd at 7:30pm for its 23rd edition, *in dreams*.
This uniquely entertaining evening will feature songs from writers both classic and contemporary including Lerner and Loewe, Jason Robert Brown, Jones and Schmidt, Green Day, Ahrens & Flaherty, Anthony Newley, Rockwell & Bogart, Frank Loesser, and more!
The dream team of singers scheduled to perform includes: Michael-Leon Wooley (B'way: LITTLE SHOP, FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE, film: THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, DREAMGIRLS), Sharon McNight (B'way/Tony nomination: STARMITES), Eric B. Anthony (B'way: LION KING, HAIRSPRAY), Alli Miller (Cherry Poppins), Ashley Ruth Jones (San Diego's 42ND STREET), Christine Tucker (EMPIRE at La Mirada), Christopher Maikish (A LITTLE NEW MUSIC), Cooper Howell (3-D's ONCE ON THIS ISLAND), Domonique Paton (FROZEN Live at the Hyperion), David LaMarr (currently appearing in JERSEY BOYS at the Ahmanson), Espiridion Magaña (Univision's VA POR TI), Jasmin Richardson (currently appearing in THE BODYGUARD at the Pantages), Kelley Dorney (MTG's STATE FAIR), Matt Magnusson (Ovation nominee: RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD), Matt Valle (SKULLDUGGERY at SacRed Fools), Michelle Ortiz (MadTV), and maybe a surprise or two!
(mostly)musicals: *in dreams* will also feature a special preview from the new musical 13th GRADE, by Dan Testa and Pamela Eberhardt, which will make its world premiere this June in the Hollywood Fringe Festival!
Award-winning composer and music director Gregory Nabours heads up this dream team, with Emily Clark hosting the open mic afterparty - so if you've dreamed of stepping into the spotlight, get there early to sign up!
Tickets are available at www.espotlounge.com for $15 (plus a 2 item minimum). Doors open at 6:30pm for dinner and drinks; the show starts at 7:30pm.
