Broadway Actress, Producer And Writer Maryam Myika Day Presents NORTH OF 40 Podcast

Actress, Award Winning Producer and Writer, Maryam Myika Day will partner with Starburns Audio (https://Starburns.audio) to tape a pilot in a series of Podcasts for a future option in a series of episodes under the title North of 40. The series will deliver a one of a kind perspective, antidotal advice, and levity driven perspective into real life issues one may face when approaching and are 'graduating to the 4th decade.' In the pilot Episode, entitled "What Happened to Me?", Day will discuss her own life changing moments, from pregnancy after the recommended age, to an emergency C-section, followed by the sudden loss of her husband just months after giving birth.

North of 40 intends to touch upon subjects that those within the range of 35-45 can relate to with the feeling of listening to a best friend and a therapist wrapped into one. Think Iyanla Vanzant meets Neil Carter meets Jennifer Lewis; blend those personalities into one feisty woman, speaking her truth on topics relative to people approaching a unique time within the aging process.

Day's own personal experiences and self-reflection have allowed her to become vocal, opening up to the public about some of the most private things she has lived through - and survived. North of 40 intends to touch on topics the average person deals with on a daily basis. From love and romance, death, birthing a child and career at the same time, to financial matters.

"I love this! It's exactly what our listeners need," stated Stephanie Arrow, Director of Marketing and Producer of North of 40.

"This is the sh*t no one talks about; nothing will be off limits," Day shares about the podcast. "Humans have been systematically brought up to believe we can do anything we set our hearts and minds to - that hard work and dedication will pay off. But sometimes life offers us very rude awakenings, not everything goes as planned and sometimes those fairy tale dreams are just a crock of bull," says Day.
