Ovation Award-nominated composer and actor Brett Ryback returns to Show at Barre/BARRE vt with B.T. Ryback: Songs I Wrote on Monday, July 25th, 2011, at 8pm.

The evening will feature highlights from Ryback's eclectic songbook, including songs from his new musical The Tavern Keeper's Daughter, as well as work from Darling, and Liberty Inn: The Musical, which was nominated for two LA Ovation Awards (Best Music/Lyrics, and Best Book.)
Performers are set to include Broadway's Jennifer Leigh Warren (Big River, Little Shop of Horrors), Jason Forbach (Les Miserables), Daniel Tatar (Spelling Bee, Paradise Lost), Jessica Keenan Wynn (Life Could Be a Dream), Derek Klena, Kelsey Jessup, Lana McKissack, and Erika Whalen.
Ryback will lead the band on piano and vocals, with Brian Reardon on guitar, Brian Boyce on drums, Nick Schaadt on bass, Max Mueller on cello, and Emily Moore on violin.

B.T. (Brett) Ryback is also known for his work as an actor in Los Angeles, most recently in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, and The History Boys for Center Theatre Group; the world premiere of Dr. Cerberus for South Coast Rep; Little Shop of Horrors and the Ovation Award-nominated 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. He won the Tennessee Williams One-Act Competition, and the Henrico County Theatre, Virginia, One-Act Competition, and was a Finalist for the Richard Rodgers Award.

Show At Barre/BARRE vt is located at 1714 N. Vermont Ave. in Los Angeles. Tickets are $15 in advance (online only) or at the door on the day of the show (if available); advance ticket buyers receive priority seating. Tickets are available at www.showatbarre.com.
