Block to Star Opposite Alexander in THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG 9/29-10/10

Stephanie J. Block will star opposite Jason Alexander in Los Angeles's Reprise Theatre Company's production of THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG, the Los Angeles Times reports.  The production will be directed by Lonny Price.

The production will run from September 29 through October 10 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse and will feature a new song by composer Marvin Hamlisch and lyricist Carole Bayer Sager.  The musical's book was written by Neil Simon.

Stephanie J. Block's Broadway credits include 9 TO 5, WICKED, THE PIRATE QUEEN, and THE BOY FROM OZ. She has also performed extensively in concert and in regional productions, including CRAZY FOR YOU, OLIVER, FUNNY GIRL, BYE BYE BIRDIE, and SOUTH PACIFIC. She has also released a solo album, 'This Place I Know.'
