Hello, Dolly! is about a meddlesome matchmaker who brings together the young clerk of a wealthy Yonkers merchant and his assistant with a widowed milliner and her assistant, while making sure she herself gets to marry the merchant, in Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker.

Bette Midler, the megastar who took home a 2017 Tony Award for her turn in the title role of Hello, Dolly!, will be joined by her Tony-nominated leading man David Hyde Pierce. Winner of four Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, director Jerry Zaks' triumphant production is "classic Broadway at its best" (Entertainment Weekly). Branch Woodman is part of the ensemble but also understudies Rudolph in the show. He has held roles in Cinderella, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Billy Elliot, Bye Bye Birdie, Big, Crazy For You. He has also been found performing at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Goodspeed Opera House, Paper Mill Playhouse, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Candlelight Pavilion!
