By: BWW News Desk
Betty Buckley will perform concert in LA at the Wallis Annenberg Theater in Beverly Hills, featuring music from her new album GHOSTLIGHT, produced by T Bone Burnett. The concert is set for January 24.
USA TODAY just chose Ghostlight as their #2 pick of the Top 5 albums for 2014.
Betty Buckley and her band will take The Wallis stage to play songs from her new album. The new recording reunites her with longtime friend and producer T Bone Burnett. Buckley and Burnett began their musical collaboration when both were 19 years old, living in Fort Worth, Texas.
Buckley went on to star on Broadway in 1776, Cats and Sunset Boulevard and is one of theater's most respected and legendary leading ladies. Burnett has combined his unique artistic sensibilities into massively popular musical projects such as the soundtracks to the films O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Walk the Line, and Crazy Heart, and the television series "Nashville."
These two friends and talents have collaborated on a haunting and timeless evening of music.
