The cast of the hit 2009 comedy WITHOUT A PADDLE 2: NATURE'S CALLING will be reuniting for a one-time special performance at the Los Angeles-based sketch comedy show ATLANTIC CITY on Thursday, July 13th, at 8pm at the UCB Theater Franklin.
WAP2NC stars Oliver James, Kristopher Turner, and Rik Young, who played Ben, Zach, and Nigel respectively in the spin-off of the 2004 not-straight-to-DVD feature film WITHOUT A PADDLE, will be performing their own comedy sketch, answering fans' calls for a long-awaited reunion from the trio.
James, Turner, and Young will be headlining the show, which also features performances from BriTANicK, Andres du Bouchet, Fran Gillespie, Scott Gairdner, Mitra Jouhari, Natalie Palamides, Carl Tart, Drew Tarver, and Lou Wilson.
"It's been been a blast getting back at it with Oliver and Rik again," says Turner. "The chemistry is still there just like it was on the set in Quebec in the summer of 2008." When asked if they'll be reprising their famous WAP2NC roles of Ben, Zach, and Nigel in their Atlantic City sketch, Turner grinned and quipped "You'll just have to wait and see."
"Oliver, Kris, and Rik are major influences on our comedy, and we are absolutely thrilled to have them making their live comedy debut as a trio on our show," said Nick Ciarelli, who produces Atlantic City alongside Brad Evans. Evans added, "We couldn't be more honored that they're doing it. We've been working with their managers and agents for months to try to find a time that all three stars were available. We're thrilled it's finally coming together and that Oliver, Kris, and Rik could take time away from their busy schedules to make it work."
