April Hava Shenkman and Jason Jenn Present HAPPY HAPPY REBEGIN DAY at Spirit Studio Silverlake, 12/29
The Happy Happy ReBegin Day Celebration, a New Year's-themed performance art event for all, created and performed by April Hava Shenkman and Jason Jenn, is slated for Saturday, December 29, 2012, 7-11pm, at the Spirit Studio Silverlake (2601 Hyperion Ave, Silverlake, Calif.). Tickets are $13, which includes a free cake and champagne toast, plus snacks and bar drinks available for purchase.

Your bliss-filled birthday cohorts April Hava Shenkman, as HAVA the Calendar Girl, and Jason Jenn, as the Janus Geminus Fool, are thrilled to entertain and enlighten you with video, performance, and party to help us all move past 2012 and look forward to the future in 2013. Get fabulously festive and foolishly informed as we explore the auspicious rites and concepts of cosmic transitions, paradigm shifts, humanity’s never-ending fascination with the marking and measure of time, and the role of the Fool in all new ventures.
We’ll be turning the wheel, and spinning our stories at Spirit Studio Silverlake with open door pre-party blissings starting at 7pm. Video screenings of the Hava Calendar Series and Divine Fool Series at 8pm interspersed and followed by live performance, with singing and springing, climaxed by cake and champagne followed by dancing and frolicking into the night! The greatest possible present to your Capricorn hosts is your presence. Tickets for “The Happy Happy ReBegin Day Celebration!” are just lucky $13 in honor of the new year! Spirit Studio Silverlake will boast a vibrant, open atmosphere and their Sophia Lounge Bar will have snacks, sodas, beer, and wine available for purchase to help make the journey divine.
