Antonia Carlotta Set for VOX LUMIERE - THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA Talkbacks This Week

Antonia Carlotta, great great-niece of Universal Studios founder Carl Laemmle and host of the web series Universally Me, a program dedicated to Universal's unique and exciting history, will participate in Q&As following performances of Vox Lumiere-The Phantom of the Opera at the Los Angeles Theatre Center tonight and tomorrow, Dec. 12 and Dec. 13.

Vox Lumiere-The Phantom of the Opera features music and lyrics by Kevin Saunders Hayes set against Universal's 1925 silent film starring Lon Chaney. Singers, dancers and musicians give voice to the silent film projected behind them, playing off each other, the audience and the onscreen story in an explosive mash-up of music, dance and technology.

Broadwayworld calls the performance "mind-blowing entertainment... truly different, incredibly exciting, and definitely the ticket for one of the coolest theatrical events to be found in LA." Vox Lumiere-The Phantom of the Opera runs tonight, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. A Q&A with Antonia Carlotta will begin immediately following each performance and is included in the ticket price.
