Andy Perez Joins the Geffen Playhouse as Press Director

Stage industry veteran Andy Perez has been ap pointed press director of the Geffen Playhouse. Perez oversees publicity, social media, and external communication for one of the area's most known regional theaters. Perez was formerly was tour publicist for Cavalia, the Montreal based touring production, West Coast regional public relations manager for Feld Entertainment, Inc., and a publicist for Radio City Entertainment leading publicity campaigns for five consecutively running productions of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Branson, and Myrtle Beach.
Perez succeeds Allison Rawlings, who is now Head of Publicity at Dreamworks Animation, and interim publicists Davidson & Choy Publicity. The Geffen Playhouse has been a hub of the Los Angeles theater scene since opening its doors in 1995. Noted for its intimacy and celebrated for its world-renowned mix of classic and contemporary plays, provocative new works and second productions, the Geffen Playhouse continues to present a body of work that has garnered national recognition.
