Stillsonworks has announced the world premiere of I Remember Lou opens tonight, June 1 and runs to July 8 at the Whitefire Theatre, Los Angeles.

I Remember Lou combines a modern story with the elements of a classical Broadway style musical comedy.

I Remember Lou is set in 2005 at a tribute service for Lou Goldfarb in the Forestville, New Jersey Jewish Center. Through the eyes of his brother Joe, the audience views highlights of Lou’s life. They learn that he wants to be a good son, husband and father, but his devotion to his job of helping poor make it hard to get his life in balance. Does he succeed?

I Remember Lou was written by Alan Stillson. Director Alissa-Nicole Koblentz. Musical director Bonnie Janofsky. Starring Johnny Ferretti, Todd Andrew Ball, Laura Wolfe and Deena Russo.
