ANNIE JR. Takes The Stage At Maxine Theatre 10/23-25

By:

Annie, Jr., the musical adventure featuring America's most adorable orphan, is coming to the Maxine Theatre in Valley Center from October 23-25th, 2009.

The Arts Off Broadway production features a cast of more than 70 children from Escondido, Valley Center, Poway, San Marcos and other neighboring cities in San Diego County.

Its upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history. The bright musical score is filled with familiar numbers, and Annie Jr. captures all of the magic of the original in a way that allows the young cast to shine.

There will be more than just kids in the spotlight as well, as Arts Off Broadway families including moms and dads will fill out some of the adult roles.

The Maxine Theatre is located at 31322 Cole Grade Road in Valley Center. Showtimes are Friday, October 23rd at 7pm, Saturday, October 24th at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday, October 25th at 2pm.

Tickets can be purchased online at the Maxine Theater website: (http://maxine.vcpusd.net/).
