By: BWW News Desk
Musical Theatre West has announced its 2010-2011 lineup which will include three classic revivals along with a world premiere by Roger Bean, who created "The Marvelous Wonderettes."
Next is CATS, playing from February 11 through February 27. The 1981 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, this show is also one of the longest-running musicals in Broadway history. This amazing score by Andrew Lloyd Weber includes the hit song "Memory." Enchanting music and fantastic dancing make this a purr-fect show for lovers of man's second-best friend. The world premiere of SUMMER OF LOVE will play from April 1 through April 17. The creator of "The Andrews Brothers" and "The Marvelous Wonderettes" now brings us all the groovy music of the 1960s and '70s as we follow a young woman in search of her own "Summer of Love" to San Francisco. It's sure to be a real trip.
