ALL THE BEST KILLERS ARE LIBRARIANS Begins at Hollywood Fringe Today

By:

The Establishment will present the world premiere (sort of) of the action-packed comedy "All The Best Killers Are Librarians". The show originally premiered as an ongoing serial in Sacred Fools Theater's late-night sensation "Serial Killers" where the audience crowned it WINNER of Season Ten. Now, all seven episodes have been combined into a fast-paced hour-long show that will be seen for the first time in its entirety at the Hollywood Fringe on the Sacred Fools Theater's Second Stage.

Lauren Van Kurin ("King of Kong: A Musical Parody) stars as Margo, a shy librarian recruited into the thrilling world of professional assassinations, international intrigue, and forbidden romance. Before the day is done, Margo's hands will be stained with blood and she will know the truth: all the best killers are librarians!

Co-stars Eric Giancoli, Jennifer Christina DeRosa, and Carrie Keranen were LA Weekly-nominated together for "best comedy ensemble" in Jenelle Riley's "A Kind Of Love Story". Rounding out the cast are Pete Kaslavka and Monica Green from the hit Sacred Fools show "Live! From The Last Night of My Life" and Mike Mahaffey ("Resident Evil: Regeneration").

Director Alicia Conway Rock is a current Artistic Director at Sacred Fools Theater and has directed for many shows there including "Crime Scene", "Fast & Loose", and "Serial Killers". Her short film "Rite" was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival.

Playwright Bob DeRosa has written for many shows at Sacred Fools Theater including "Serial Killers", "Fast & Loose", "Crime Scene", and "Naked Holidays". He also writes for the big screen ("Killers", "The Air I Breathe") and the small ("White Collar").

Jennifer Christina DeRosa is making her producing debut. As a costume designer, she designed several Sacred Fools shows including "Candide", "Occupation", and the Ovation-winning "Taste".

The award-winning design team includes fight choreographer Mike Mahaffey ("She Kills Monsters"), lighting designer Matt Richter ("Hit The Wall") and sound designer Ben Rock ("Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?").
