A PARALLELOGRAM to Begin at CTG's Mark Taper Forum, 7/10

By:

"A Parallelogram" by Bruce Norris will be directed by Anna D. Shapiro at Center Theatre Group's Mark Taper Forum. The show begins previews on July 10, with an opening slated for July 21. "A Parallelogram runs through August 18, 2013.

A darkly comic play from the Pulitzer-winning author of "Clybourne Park," Bruce Norris, and the Tony-winning director of "August: Osage County," Anna D. Shapiro, "A Parallelogram" introduces us to Bee, who believes she has the ability to know what happens in the future. With what appears like a little time-bending she sees how her life, and that of her boyfriend and the world at large, will play out. To the increasing concern of those around her, Bee tries to make sense of this new-found knowledge. Should she try to reinvent destiny? Or is the trajectory of life basically unalterable?

Previews (July 10-July 20): Wednesday through Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2:30 and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Exceptions: No 2:30 p.m. performance on Saturday, July 13.
