A Noise Within Announces New Board Members

A Noise Within (ANW), Los Angeles' critically acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, has expanded its Board of Directors with the recent appointment of three outstanding new members, announced ANW Board President Terry Kay. "As A Noise Within leaves its long-time Glendale headquarters for the company's state-of-the-art new home in Pasadena, we are proud to welcome Pasadena residents and community leaders Sheila Lamson, Lyn Spector and Sarah Mitchell to the A Noise Within Board," Kay said.
Former teacher Sheila Lamson, a 17-year patron and supporter of ANW, is a dedicated community volunteer of long-standing, working with such organizations as the Pasadena Sister Cities Committee and the American Association of University Women. Live theater is a guiding passion for Sheila and her husband, retired Pasadena City College English professor Alan Lamson, frequent world travelers who will see plays "any time, any place, anywhere."Sarah Mitchell, vice president human resources for international & corporate groups at Warner Bros Filmed Entertainment, leads a team of 45 human resources professionals internationally, covering the United States, Latin America, Canada, Europe, Asia Pacific and Japan. She is a graduate of the University of Wales, Cardiff, with a Bachelors Degree in Modern English Studies and a Postgraduate Degree in Education.Lyn Spector, a visual artist, is a former vice president of marketing at Scudder Fund Distributors with a background in investment management. Her extensive volunteer and fundraising affiliations include the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Pasadena Symphony Association, Hillsides Home for Children and the Pasadena Playhouse, where Lyn served as an active Board member for 14 years.
