What do you get when you put 6 incredible singers on stage with a 15 piece orchestra, and give them some of Broadway's most show-stopping tunes to perform? MAGIC! It's exactly this magic that is coming back to the historic Madrid Theatre in Canoga Park on Nov. 13th (7pm) and 14th (3pm).

Valley Opera and Performing Arts returns to the stage after a 21 month forced pandemic hiatus with the next installment of their most popular concert series, "The Best of Broadway, Vol. VII". VOPA favorites Dylan F. Thomas, Shira Renee Thomas, Katie McTyre, and Drew Schufman will be joined by two accomplished performers - Brayden Hade and Isaac Quiroga - making their VOPA debuts. Katie McTyre's impressive student ensemble from the Performing Arts Collective will add their talents to this spectacular group of artists, with Maestro Brian Asher Alhadeff leading the acclaimed VOPA Orchestra, ensuring a truly breathtaking concert experience.

Audiences can expect to be blown away by the vast range of musical styles featured on the concert, spanning everything from iconic classic Broadway treasures, to modern musical hits, to knockout rock musical staples. The program will include favorites from such musicals as The King & I, Jersey Boys, Dear Evan Hansen, My Fair Lady, Rock of Ages, Les Miserables, The Who's Tommy, and many more.

Audiences have consistently raved about VOPA's Broadway concert series, calling it, "...an evening to remember", and "...a truly amazing showcase", with "vocals nothing short of spectacular!" The Nov. 13-14 event is certain to continue VOPA's reputation as being one of the "...gems of the valley."

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting https://vopabofb7.bpt.me or by calling (818) 727-7844.

Senior/student/group discounts available. Valet parking available for an additional fee.

All county Covid-19 safety precautions will be enforced, including proof of vaccination or negative Covid test within 48 hours of the event, and masking while indoors. All performers are fully vaccinated.

This concert is made possible, in part, through generous grants from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, and the Los Angeles County Arts Council.
