14th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts Holds Opening Ceremony Parade, 7/18

The 14th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts will hold their Opening Ceremony Parade and a Free Public Performance with talent from around the world, Sunday, July 18, 9:00 am - 10:00 am, outside at the Nokia Theatre/LA Live, 777 Chick Hearn Court, Los Angeles 90015, across from Staples Center.

The colorful parade culminates with the best performers from around the world giving Los Angeles a free sneak peak preview of the amazing international talent that will be participating in this year's event. David Beach is the mc. Confirmed performers include previous World Champion Winners, Jed Madela (2005 Senior Grand Champion Performer of the World - Phillipines), Rhap Salazar (2009 Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World - Phillipines, and Kimverlie Molina (2009 Senior Grand Champion Vocalist - Saudi Arabia).

Think "Dancing with the Stars," "Idol" and the best of "America's Got Talent" on a global scale, live, in Los Angeles. Hundreds of singers, dancers, actors, models, you name it, will be gearing up to strut their stuff for the judges at the 14th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts, set to take center stage July 19 - 23, 2010 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. This international meet is often cited as the official "Talent Olympics" for aspiring performers and entertainers, and the only event of its kind held annually in "Hollywood," the entertainment capital of the world.
