The John W. Engeman Theater Helps to Raise Money for EAC Network

By:

On Thursday, April 4, 2013 Kevin J. O'Neill, Managing Director and Co-Owner of the John W. Engeman Theater, along with Robert Suarez, Assistant VP of Community Development from Bethpage Federal Credit Union, presented a check in the amount of $2,020 to Lance Elder, President and CEO of EAC Netowrk. Bethpage Federal Credit union partnered with the John W. Engeman Theater to help raise money for EAC Network.

In the classic Dickens tale of "A Christmas Carol", Scrooge learned that the true joy of life comes from helping others. This lesson about giving really came true this year as the non-profit EAC Network. For every ticket that was sold to A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story Of Christmas using the Bethpage Promotional code, the John W. Engeman Theater generously donated $10.00 to a charity that Bethpage nominates. This time Bethpage chose EAC Network, the Education & Assistance Corporation, which is a not-for-profit human service agency that administers 66 programs across Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City.

"This collaboration resulted in a donation that will help many people in need throughout Long Island and the metro area," stated Lance W. Elder, EAC President & CEO. "The spirit of giving is alive and well, and we are grateful to have such generous community partners."
