A steamy prohibition tale steamrolling and roaring its way across the stage, Andrew THE WILD PARTY was an off-broadway gem that garnered an array of industry accolades, including Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, & Obie awards. Based on Joseph Moncure March's 1928 narrative poem of the same name, this darkly brilliant show features one of the most exciting, pulse-racing scores ever written.

THE WILD PARTY tells the story of one wild evening in the roaring twenties, set in a Manhattan apartment shared by Queenie and Burrs, a vaudeville dancer and a vaudeville clown. In a relationship marked by vicious behavior and recklessness, they decide to throw a party to end all parties. While Queenie and Burrs set out to make each other jealous, their long night of revelry and decadence unravels towards a bitter end.

An award-winning score by Andrew Lippa provides excitement and drive for this tale of passions out of control. Capturing the sound of a bygone era with a nod to the present one, Lippa reminds us that moral decadence is not only limited to our past.

THE WILD PARTY won the 2000 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music, the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical, and garnered four additional Outer Critics Circle nominations, and thirteen Drama Desk nominations.
