Long Island to Host Baby Shower for Nick Cannon May 19
Hundreds of Long Island residents will host a massive baby shower for radio and television personality Nick Cannon tonight, May 19, 11:00 pm at Silk Ultra Lounge, 573 Nesconset Highway, Hauppauge, NY. Cannon recently welcomed the birth of his first children - a pair of twins named Monroe and Moroccan - with wife Mariah Carey, a native of Huntington, Long Island. Cannon, who first rose to fame in the late 90s as a cast member on Nickelodeon's All That and a starring role in the film Drumline, also counts among his accomplishments a successful music and producing career. Today, he has turned his attention to hosting the MTV series Wild 'N Out and several radio shows.
