CASTING INFORMATION

MARTHA (Age range 40-55)

Author's Description: A large boisterous woman, fifty-two, looking somewhat younger. Ample but not fleshy.
GEORGE (Age range 40-55)

Description: Martha's husband, forty-six and a professor at a small local college.. Thin; hair going gray.
HONEY (Age range 26-40)

Nick's new bride, twenty-six, a petite blond girl, rather plain.
NICK (Age range 28-40)

Honey's husband, a Young professor, twenty-eight, blond, well put-together, good-looking.
Synopsis of the play:
Synopsis: George and Martha invite a young new professor and his wife to their house following a party. When they arrive the charade begins. Drinks flow and inhibitions melt. Martha seems determined to seduce the young professor and George couldn't care less.Beneathe the edgy banter lursk an undercurrent of tragedy and despair. Eventually, the mystery of George and Martha's bitterness towards each other is exposed, revealing the degrading mess they have made of their lives

Please be prepared to read from the script. Headshots and resumes are suggested but not a requirement.

Auditions will be held at 1:00pm: Saturday, February 6th.

AUDITION LOCATION: Findley Cadillac on the second floor. (Drive arround to the back of the dealership and park on the top level of the parking garage. Take the elevator down to the second floor and walk right down the hall to the last room on the left.)
