Sirc Michaels and Lorie Palkow announce the formation of Sirc Michaels Productions, an entertainment and theatrical Production Company located in Las Vegas, NV.

Recently Sirc Michaels served as the Producing Artistic Director of Off-Strip Productions and The Onyx Theatre. Since arriving in Las Vegas he has created DR. HORRIBLE'S SING ALONG BLOG LIVE ON STAGE and EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, both Las Vegas premieres. His most recent stage offering, EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, has seen 2 successful runs at The Onyx Theatre.

Sirc has been involved in theatre for nearly 2 decades as a playwright, director, and producer. He is perhaps best known for his association with THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, which he toured regionally and has produced and/or directed at various venues across the United States.

Sirc and Lorie are both co-founders of AVENUE 10, a venue dedicated to producing and staging daring, provocative works in the unlikely city of Amarillo TX. The company still continues today and is growing daily.

According to a press statement, "Sirc's passion for the arts has led to a quick partnership with many local theatre production companies in the short time he has been active in the local theatre community, and both he and Lorie are looking forward to continuing those relationships and building upon them."

Sirc Michaels Productions intends to offer 3 different types of live entertainment:

1. Shows designed for the enjoyment of Las Vegas locals put in spots frequented by the denizens of Sin City but not often seen by tourists. These may be shows written and developed locally, using area playwrights and directors to bring their vision to the stage or may even be Las Vegas premieres of shows that have established themselves elsewhere but have not reached area stages yet. Should these productions prove themselves they will be considered for professional production.

2. Professional productions designed for tourists and locals looking to get a taste of what Sin City has to offer in live, unforgettable entertainment without magicians, impersonators, or circus acts. The perfect example of this is the upcoming production of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, which will make its professional Las Vegas premiere in early summer 2012.

3. Events and productions designed for everyone to take advantage of special occasions such as Halloween, Christmas, or - in the case of 2012 - the End of the World Party on December 21st. These can range from concerts to celebrations to pop-up productions.

Keeping with that philosophy, all auditions are open to the public and anyone interested in becoming a part of the excitement is encouraged to get involved. Directors and designers are encouraged to email their inquiries.
