"Exit the Body" was written by Fred Carmichael and its story line is centered on the portrayal of a female mystery writer who rents a house in New England for the summer that also happens to be a rendezvous point for several jewel thieves. The focal point of the set is the closet, which opens into a living room and a library. To everyone's surprise, a body is discovered in the closet, which disappears when the sheriff arrives on the scene. With the web of confusion, no one knows whom to believe or trust. The jewel hunt comes to a climactic end at two a.m. when four couples, none of whom know each other, turn up to search.
SFS partners and producers are William Freyd, Bob Sperling, and Betty Sullivan-Cleary, who as a team within the past two years have produced dozens of sold-out performances of hit productions
