Paparazzi. Viral videos. A mystery woman. An encyclopedic knowledge of "The Gentleman's Sport." Ronnie Brixton, premiere BBC boxing commentator and son of the famed British boxing trainer "King George" Brixton rushes to get ahead of the burgeoning scandal with a special presentation for his fans. The story transcends boxing, working its way through relationships, the hazards of celebrity, father-son competition, and the slipperiness of gender. Nothing gets held back. Ronnie Brixton - The Best of British Boxing opens at The Space Las Vegas for May 2 a preview run ahead of a run at The Hollywood Fringe 2018 beginning June 2.

Byron Tidwell and the late Lincoln Hudson created this rollicking adventure in the form of Ronnie's career retrospective with stories of growing up with his boxing trainer father, personal accounts of the great boxing bouts of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, and then there's that woman who may or may not show up during the presentation. The 2018 Olivier Awards honored Lincoln during the In Memoriam segment.

Actor David Shaughnessy plays Ronnie Brixton. Known for his role of Sir Didymus in Jim Henson's Labyrinth starring David Bowie, David began his career at London's Old Vic appearing in the Derek Jacobi Hamlet and Antony and Cleopatra starring Sir Alec McCowan and Dame Dorothy Tutin. In America he directed original plays for A&E produced by Gladys Nederlander that starred Olympia Dukakis, Edward Herrmann, Annette O'Toole and Anthony Edwards. David won Emmy Awards for producing and directing The Young and The Restless. He also directed The Bold and The Beautiful and currently directs Days of Our Lives.

This show promises intimate emotional involvement as it seeks to illuminate what happens during a crisis of personal identity with the joy of interior discovery. How to do that within the context of the macho sport of boxing? See how Ronnie holds the secret.
