Linda Vu to Perform at Jokesters Comedy Club
Just back from her third trip entertaining the troops overseas, Asian American comedian Linda Vu will join the nightly lineup of comedians at Don Barnhart's "Down & Dirty" Comedy Show at Jokesters Comedy Club inside the D Casino Hotel in Las Vegas.
Linda's unique perspective as an Asian American who immigrated to the United States is hysterically insightful and downright funny. Although a relative newcomer on the comedy scene, Vu has risen quickly with her clever, insightful and uniquely funny material avoiding the easy Asian stereotypes most other comics rely on.
Vu is also the owner of LV Fitness Academy specializing in fitness and self-defense has been a strong supporter of the military and brought her self-defense team overseas teaching women in the military Close Quarters Combat and assault prevention. Her body of work includes: Energy Hour CD, Power Abs DVD and Linda's Women Self Defense DVD along with starring in an indie movie China Dolls. She also recently modeled for Suzzi Swimwear and Dillard's featuring Nike, Puma and Under Armor sportswear.
Linda Vu currently co-stars in the new sitcom Class Clowns created by Don Barnhart. Written by and starring Barnhart and Keith Lyle from The Hangover, Class Clowns follows the miss-adventures of fictional comedian and former sitcom star Johnny B who pulls a "Kramer" takes a "Chappell" and comes back to star in his own "Seinfeld" type of web series and reality show.
Don Barnhart's Down & Dirty comedy show is the ultimate comedy experience. The show is uncensored, sexy and full on funny featuring the hottest comedians from Vegas and around the world. Barnhart, himself is an award-winning comedian with and extensive list of film and TV credits.
