'LIT AF Tour' Hosted By Martin Lawrence Comes To Mandalay Bay Events Center

Comedian, actor, director and producer Martin Lawrence will return to the stage as the host of 2018's hottest comedy event: the "LIT AF Tour" at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. Coming off the 20th anniversary of Def Comedy Jam, where he is known as the legendary host, Lawrence has made a triumphant return to the stand-up stage wowing audiences with his signature style of hilarious stories, social commentary and more. The "LIT AF Tour" stars Lawrence as the high-powered host who will present a lineup of comedians including Deon Cole, Rickey Smiley, Bruce Bruce and Benji Brown.

Tickets for the "LIT AF" tour start at $45, not including applicable service charges, and go on sale Friday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. PST. Martin Lawrence started in stand-up comedy at The Improv, the legendary venue where he honed his talents until he was asked by Russell Simmons to host his groundbreaking comedy series "Def Comedy Jam" on HBO. From there, Lawrence became a household name he debuted his self-titled TV show "Martin." He starred for five years as not only the title character, but other support characters such as the sassy Sheneneh and Mama Payne both of whom became comedy classics. Lawrence would later go on to star in comedy blockbusters "Big Momma's House, 1, 2 and 3" where he once again proved his talent for creating and acting as multiple characters in one storyline.
