Don Barnhart's Ministry of Laughter Begins with the First Church of Ha in Las Vegas
The First Church of Ha (as far as we know) will celebrate their grand opening with a non-denominational gathering and fellowship for spiritual development through a series of laughter based ministries beginning Fridays in November at 8:00PM.
Founder, Ordained Minister and Comedian Don Barnhart said, "There is a Church of Bacon, A Church of Atheists and a Church of Cannabis, a religion that embraces and utilizes marijuana as their holy sacrament so why not create a Church of Ha celebrating laughter's enlightenment of the soul?"
The Church of Ha's only true dogma added Barnhart, "Is making people laugh which releases their personal stress thereby opening up their possible communication with their high power."Timing for The Church of Ha couldn't be better as HBO's John Oliver dedicated several segments on his program where he opened a church called, Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption which was a legally recognized church in the United States.
As Oliver explained, the requirements needed to be defined as a "church" are quite broad and the segment was to shine light on the charlatans.
