Westin Crown Center Earns Starwood Excellence Award

The Westin Crown Center was honored recently with the Outstanding Meeting Planner Satisfaction award at Starwood Hotels' North America Excellence Awards. Steve Shalit, the hotel's general manager, accepted the honor at the St. Regis New York.

Competition for the awards is fierce among Starwood's 500+ North American properties. Meeting planners are asked to rate hotels in such categories as the sales phase, meeting room setup, food and beverage, audio-visual and staff.

"This recognition is testament to the commitment of all the associates here at The Westin Crown Center ," Shalit said. "We're dedicated to providing the finest service to meeting planners and to the many guests they bring to our hotel each year."
