A world of underwater imagination comes to life at Crown Center's "Under the Sea Adventure" exhibit for the last time on May 1. Interactive stations include a pirate ship, submarine and whale's mouth that promise to entertain thousands of youngsters. The complimentary exhibit is located in the Crown Center Shops Showplace at 2450 Grand Blvd. In addition to the exhibit, related "sea" activities include:
Weekend Family Movies in February at Screenland Crown Center. The lineup includes "Shark Tale" (Feb 5-6), "The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie" (Feb 12-13), "Flipper" (Feb 19-20) and "Surf's Up" (Feb 26-27). Showtimes are 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with admission of $3.
Meet the Mermaid Princess from noon to 4 p.m. on March 5, 12, 19 and 26 in the Crown Center Shops Atrium. No admission fee and professional photos are available for a fee, or guests may take their own.
Pick up a Pirate Puzzle Treasure Hunt entry form April 1-30 at the exhibit or Crown Center Customer Service for a chance at a treasure full of fun prizes.
"Under the Sea Adventure" is open during Crown Center Shops regular shop hours: Monday through Wednesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Closed on Easter Sunday, April 24.
